A sunny Saturday morning family photography session in the woods in Stanmore today.
As much as I love the full Old Redding loop (finishing off in the garden of the Case is Altered), it’s usually too large an expedition for the smaller legs, so we took the quiet residential entrance to the nature reserve, discovered fairy dells and disappeared into the soft light of the woods.
We took our favourite toys to show them the view and keep us company if we met a strange The trees were full of fresh leaf, light and airy. We brought carrots and gathered docks to feed to the deer and admired their new growth of antlers.
We took some time to climb, clamber and practice balancing along some fallen tree trunks and logs and holding tight to Mummy’s hand as we wobbled. When we were all ready to head home, we took a stroll back picking posies of wild flowers, some cow parsley and Herb Robert to give to Daddy.
If you’d like to have your family photographs taken in gentle, lush green woods, drop me a line over here, email me on [email protected], or give me a call on 07989 194 574 and we can talk about arranging your session.
