Bubbles and bear hats

Deep and dark December = grey skies and gloomy pictures, right?  Naaahhh. Anything is bright with big enough smiles.

Diane & Richard both have families overseas and asked me to join them on a walk around their local park so they could have some photos to show everyone back home.  It was cold and damp, as December will be, but we took coats and funky hats and strolled around at toddler speed (sometimes very fast, sometimes standing and staring at the trains and groundskeeper’s van.)

Toddler Charles rightly insisted that we needed to go to the playground first and we took a little while he investigated and climbed with some help from Daddy, and we got some gorgeous faces from him.

After that, he was happy to model his very fine bear hat for us.  And his incredible brown eyes and gorgeous cheeks.

We took a little time out after all the walking and climbing to sit with snacks and bubbles.  My favourite part.

Diane & Richard loved their final images, and now have some beautiful images for the bedroom walls and some postable prints to send home.  Now their families know exactly where they’ve been  when Charles talks about where he spent his day.
